Cyclorana novaehollandiae

Frog most often mistaken for a cane toad. A large frog with the habit of sitting up tall on the road like the cane toad.


    • Body size to 10cm
    • Big broad head with short, fairly pointed snout
    • Wide mouth
    • Similar colour to the cane toad but moist skin with a few thing long ridges and no large glands
    • Usually found around pools in grassland and open forest areas or on roads
