Walters Plains Lake DOIW
A shallow ephemeral lake with several minor inlets but no defined outlet. 18 degrees 21' 14" S, 145 degrees 13' 26" E; the site has a general southeast-northwest orientation with length of c. 8 km and a width of c. 5 km, with its centre c. 100 km west northwest of Ingham.
An example of an ephemeral lake in a closed basin, the origin of which appears to differ slightly from other, similar wetlands in the area.
